In New Jersey snow showers are in the forecast for possibly making an arrival this weekend! Halloween still hasn't even been fully enjoyed! With that said....all I can think about is Holiday music and cookies! Yum! At the same time though, I'm reminded of all our Nations Deployed Soldiers and how different the Holidays will be for them.
Operation : Send Some Cheer will be in full swing soon enough with it's best efforts to try and bring "Some Cheer" through care packages. In preparation, we'll be collecting Holiday cards to send along too. So if you're ready to pull out your holiday supplies and purge last years card inventory or card making supplies...what a great way to put them to use...instead of the trash can eating them!
We will be hosting "Card and Letter Writing to the Troops" through out the Holiday Season at various events including our own care package assembly --Operation: Send Some Cheer.
