We Have Updated Our Operation: Send Some Cheer Site!

 It's been a little slow in regards to care package assembly and shipping them out since we have left the mall, but we now have a new location! We look forward to hitting full swing and getting things back up and running as so we can keep showing our soldier's support and appreciation. 
Any ideas for fundraising and events are much appreciated and much needed. Please don't be shy- send them along, so they can be developed and used. If you bring an idea to the table you can become involved if you'd like or you can just submit it for it to be ran with! You decide your participation level- this is a volunteer based effort.

Come Visit Our NEW Location at  2546 Route 57, Stewartsville. 

Donations will be accepted 
Tuesdays and Thursdays 
 9:30 am - 12:30 pm.  

Appointments can be made for times other than listed! 

We are now scheduling groups looking to participate in assembly. 
We'll try to accommodate your regular meeting times if we can.

Christmas may be over
it's now time to relax,
but our troops are still deployed 
and care packages should be sent to them,
if I had to say so - fast! 
It's only a small gesture 
of our support for what they do, 
keeping our country safe 
for me and you! 

So let's all take advantage
of the sales that are full swing,
and stock up on those items -
that could reap a soldiers grin!

Candy canes and Hershey kisses 
help make snowman soup, 
cookies, crackers, and snacks 
are surely liked to boot. 

So keep your eyes open 
for a sure after holiday score, 
then come visit us, 
so we can pack it to present it 
and ship it off galore!!

Merry Christmas To All!!

Happy Holidays to everyone, I hope you're all enjoying it! My family and I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas to you and yours, and keep in our thoughts all of those who are serving our country and those that are without a home. Our warm thoughts and prayers are being sent their way!

Updated Total of Care Packages Sent

We have shipped more care packages bringing our 
total to date to 846!!

We still have some care packages waiting to be shipped and more being assembled, but we need to think of fundraising ideas to help with shipping costs. So anybody with ideas--I'd love to hear them!!! Send me an email at allforhelping@ymail.

Christmas Is Nearing...Who Needs Reindeer Food?!

Since we have left the Mall our stuff has been in boxes---Until Today!! Today was "moving in" day at our NEW LOCATION-- one of  Rossini's Racing's storefront's- the one that is on Route 57. We have unpacked our stuff to continue assembling care packages and get settled in. Upon unpacking, we realized we have an abundance of

Reindeer Food and Smowman Soup
 Which is only $1.50 each

and Candy Canes
 Which are $1.00 each
They have a little shaped jelly candy attached with a bow to the front, 

along with Holiday Theme Candles
which are hand poured soy and vary
from $7- $10
 
Our plan is to sell them to make money to ship the care packages to the troops. Anyone interested, send me an email at allforhelping@ymail.com to schedule a pick up time and to check out our new place before we officially set hours after the holiday! You can also email me to schedule a drop off time for donations as well! Hope everyone is having a Happy Holiday Season!

Rossini Racing Products Has Donated Space!!

Rossini's Racing Products have donated the use of their storefront that faces the highway for us to continue assembling troop care packages. The address is 2546 Route 57, Stewartsville. 

In preparation to getting settled in we are looking for folding tables to use. If anybody has any extra laying around that we could borrow- we sure would love that!! Just send me a message at allforhelping@ymail.com. 

More details to come soon about days and times. I'd like to extend a huge " Thank You" to Mike and Elaine for giving us the green light and Chris and Ron for rallying!! Thanks!!!

Don't forget to come out and support the Warren Hills Jr. Streaks cheerleaders
and write a card or letter of appreciation to the Troops.

with a collection box for any donations brought to the event!

Family Loses Everything to Fire- We Need to Help!

A friend's sister just lost her house and all her belongings to a fire. They are left with the clothes on their back and the shoes they were wearing. Everyone at All For Helping would like to extend their deepest sympathies to that family and offer help. 

They live in a fairly remote area but have access to a Walmart and Target. The family consists of Mom, Dad, Son, age 16 size large, 11 shoe, 30x30 pants., and Daughter, age 18 and tiny @ size 2.

  We will be collecting gift cards to Walmart and Target (they are the two closest stores in their area). Any donations collected can be dropped off to H & K Auto Body Repairs (2566 route 57 in Stewartsville) and The Underdog Stand (in front of Greenwhich Home Depot). The gift cards will then be mailed directly to the family. Thanks so much in advance for all your help.

Card and Letter Writing to the Troops

This Saturday
December 17th
11am-4pm
at Warren Hills High School 
in Washington, NJ
 We will be joining the

Jr Streaks Cheerleading Team's 
Holiday Event! 

They will  be:
  • Selling holiday cookies
  • Collecting Toys for Tots
  • Offering a Framed Picture with Santa for only $5
  • Plus they will have vendors and..
  • Card and Letter Writing to the Troops

They have agreed to host a table for
Operation: Send Some Cheer! 

We will have complimentary cards and stationary available
to write letters of appreciation to the soldiers. 
 There will also be a collection bin for any donations brought to this event!

Operation: Send Some Cheer has left the Mall

Operation: Send Some Cheer has come to a close in the Phillipsburg Mall. It proved to be a very successful event, shipping more than 800 care packages! I'd like to extend a big Thank You to all who were involved. We will continue sending care packages throughout the year, and are looking for a new space. I think we have found a temporary location, but will announce when it is final!

Many many "Thanks" to Shoprite of Greenwich and Mr. Colalillo for a more than generous donation of gift cards to help send care packages to the troops!

Requests for Operation: Send Some Cheer

Thank you for all the wonderful donations of time, care package items, and shipping funds for Operation: Send Some Cheer. Things are running smoothly and we'll have a number of care packages sent posted tomorrow.We have had some specific requests made in addition to the original Troops' Wish List. The items requested are:
  • Christmas Lights
  • Religious / Spiritual Books
  • DVD Movies
  • Creams for Coffee
  • Starbucks Coffee Via
  • Body Lotion
  • Brown Winter Socks
  • Green Winter Socks
  • Magazines
These items are being sent to a unit of 1500 men and 500 women. Any one interested in donating any of these items can bring them to the Phillipsburg Mall this week Tuesday - Sunday 11am-6pm. Thanks for all your help in making this effort a success!

Help Us Win A Donation to Feeding America!!

Voting time again to help win a donation to Feeding America. You can vote once a day. You just have to "like" Kohl's first then you can click the "vote" button. If I win- I plan to buy socks and chapsticks for the troop care packages with the Kohl's gift card! So the winnings will go all to charity!

Extending Our Efforts!

We are staying another week at the Phillipsburg Mall to continue our Operation: Send Some Cheer efforts!! In addition to donations we are also collecting coupons- current and expired ones. Hope you'll come and visit us!! I promise I'll post pictures soon- it's been super busy!
